Please join us for our biggest fundraiser of the year—Laps for Lafayette! Each class will run/jog/walk for 40 minutes around a ¼-mile grass course next to the gym. Pre-K and Kindergarten will participate for 30 minutes.
Laps for Lafayette is our largest and most successful fundraiser. We raised about $18,000 in 2017! The money raised funds a variety of enrichment and educational opportunities for our students. These include: field trips, literacy, quality art supplies, library materials, technology upgrades, outdoor education, classroom support, school assemblies, after-school clubs… and Lafayette Elementary keeps 100% of the money raised for our students! Donations are all tax deductible!
GOALS & PLEDGE OPTIONS We hope you’ll join us in this fundraiser by asking grandparents, family, friends and neighbors for their support. Our 2018 goal is $18,000 – that is just $37/student!!! Family and friends make a “flat” pledge and can donate online at https://2018-laps-for-lafayette.cheddarup.com or with cash or check, payable to Lafayette Elementary PTA. Be sure to include your student’s name & grade on the donations so they get credit for their pledges!
CORPORATE DONATIONS If your company has an employee-matching program or makes annual donations to non-profit organizations, donate online (tax receipts available immediately) or consider submittingsubmit the pledge form. Lafayette Elementary PTA is a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
RECOGNITION, REWARDS & PRIZES Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have some fantastic prizes to motivate and reward students looking to go above and beyond. Donations MUST be turned in by 10/12/18 for prize consideration! We will not accept late pledges for prizes.
Our top fundraisers and top lap runners (boy & girl from each grade) will receive something special.
If your student raises $100 or more, they get their picture taken with our Mascot, CT and our Cougars love this!
